2. Emergency Service Terms
Prime Locksmith offers 24/7 emergency locksmith services. By requesting emergency service, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Emergency service dispatch is based on availability and geographic proximity
- Response times are estimates and not guaranteed; factors such as traffic, weather, and call volume may affect arrival time
- Emergency service may incur additional fees beyond standard service rates
- We reserve the right to prioritize calls based on the nature and severity of the emergency
3. Scheduling and Appointments
For non-emergency services, appointments are scheduled as follows:
- Appointments are confirmed via phone or email at the time of booking
- Customers should provide accurate contact information and location details
- We recommend confirming your appointment at least 24 hours in advance
- Prime Locksmith reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, with reasonable notice provided to the customer
4. Payment Terms
Payment for locksmith services is subject to the following terms:
- Payment is due at the time of service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
- We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, Venmo, and Zelle
- All prices are quoted in United States Dollars (USD)
- Quotes provided are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance, unless otherwise specified
- Final pricing may vary based on actual labor, materials, and site conditions discovered during service
- Any changes to the scope of work must be approved by the customer before additional charges are incurred
5. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the following policy:
- Cancellations made at least 2 hours before the scheduled appointment time incur no fee
- Cancellations made less than 2 hours before the appointment may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to $50
- Emergency service cancellations after dispatch may be subject to a dispatch fee
- Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a prepayment requirement for future services
6. Warranty and Guarantee
Prime Locksmith stands behind the quality of our workmanship and parts:
- Workmanship Warranty: We warrant our labor for a period of 90 days from the date of service. If a workmanship issue arises within this period, we will correct it at no additional charge.
- Parts Warranty: Manufacturer warranties apply to all locks, hardware, and electronic components installed. Warranty periods vary by manufacturer.
- Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage resulting from misuse, abuse, neglect, improper installation by third parties, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications.
- To make a warranty claim, contact us within the warranty period with your original service invoice.
7. Vehicle Ownership Verification
For automotive locksmith services, including car key replacement, lockout assistance, and ignition work, the customer must provide proof of vehicle ownership or authorization:
- Valid government-issued photo ID matching the vehicle registration or title
- Vehicle registration document
- Proof of insurance listing the customer as a covered driver
- For rental vehicles: rental agreement and valid ID
Prime Locksmith reserves the right to refuse service if adequate proof of ownership or authorization cannot be provided. This policy is in place to protect vehicle owners and prevent unauthorized access.
8. Liability Limitations
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- Prime Locksmith's total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by the customer for the specific service giving rise to the claim
- We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of property, loss of data, loss of business, or personal injury
- We are not responsible for damage to property resulting from pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to worn, damaged, or improperly installed locks, doors, or hardware
- Customers are advised to secure valuables and personal property before service begins
9. Customer Responsibilities
By using our services, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information regarding your location, service needs, and property details
- Verify your identity and ownership or authorization for the property or vehicle being serviced
- Ensure safe access to the work area for our technicians
- Secure pets and remove any hazards from the work area
- Pay all applicable fees at the time of service
10. Pricing and Estimates
Our pricing policies are as follows:
- All estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time of quoting
- Final pricing may differ from estimates if unforeseen complications arise during service
- Customers will be notified of any significant price changes before work continues
- Service call fees may apply and will be disclosed at the time of booking
- Promotional offers and discounts cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
